Situated on top of a sand dune just outside Mandawa this is a peaceful place with gardens and open air dining areas where the mystery and romance of the desert are captured in the unusual architecture.

A couple of centuries back, the golden era of ancient trade routes from Central Asia flourished unhindered by international borders.  Affluent Marwari traders built exquisite havelis (mansions) and painted the exteriors and interiors in brilliant depictions of mythology and folklore.  As trade centres moved, the families moved on, leaving these mansions behind.  Indravilas is an authentic 100 room heritage mansion, which has been refurbished to give the experience of this bygone era.  The haveli, with 29 spacious deluxe rooms and suites is set in a 10 acre garden and has a swimming pool.
