Exotic Rajasthan - The Desert Route 16 days / 15 nights |
Rajasthan represents the ultimate confluence of history, chivalry, romance, rugged natural beauty and colour. Today, many years after the last bugle was sounded, and after the warring kingdoms of erstwhile Rajputana sheathed their swords, the desert appears romantic, its arts the expression of a brave yet sensitive race, its architecture the embodiment of strength and grace, it is as if in celebration of life itself. |

India In Style 15 days / 14 nights |
This is a wonderful itinerary that introduces you to Royal Rajasthan as a guest in some of its most spectacular forts and palaces. New Delhi, the contemporary manifestation of the many cities that have occupied this site, is where you begin. Having toured the gems of her colonial heritage and turned the pages of history to earlier days, Agra is your next stop. The Taj, recognised as a World Heritage Monument, is not to be missed, nor it it to be visited hurriedly; a loving tribute to a lady of extraordinary beauty, it has many moods - all of which have to be seen to be appreciated. From there we move on to the Pink City of Jaipur, gateway to Rajasthan, and the imposing Amber Fort. In contrast, a warm welcome awaits in the palaces of Rajasthan. Turbaned family retainers will take care of your every need, wait on your smallest command even as soft whispers of history echo in the rooms around you. |

Enchanting Rajasthan 12 days / 11 nights |
Though it does not traverse very many cities, this itinerary encapsulates the colour and vibrancy of the region. Introducing India are the seven cities of Delhi - amicably rubbing shoulders with modern cosmopolitan living. Agra adds further insight, particularly to the Mughal era. As tribute to the golden age of culture that is nurtured stands that 'monument to eternal love' - the Taj Mahal. The interplay of cultures is clearly visible in Rajasthan, but there are forts, such as the one as Kumbalgarh near Deogarh, that proudly assert they have never been successfully assailed. At the edge of the Thar Desert stands Jodhpur, one of the three most powerful of the erstwhile kingdoms of Rajasthan. The splendour of its imposing fort, glory of the many palaces and havelis, and vibrant attraction of its bazaars make it one of the most popular destinations in Rajasthan. Charming Deogarh is off the beaten track, and the warm hospitality of the royal family makes it the ideal base for excursions to surrounding attractions. |

Lesser Known Gems of Rajasthan 15 days / 14 nights |
Hidden away, just off the main tourist track, are some lovely small palaces and hunting lodges of erstwhile Maharajas. Linked to form a complete itinerary, they provide a unique experience and exposure to aspects of the country you may not otherwise see. Some of these palaces take you back in time to when the rhythm of ankle bells beckoned from mirrored halls and soft whispers of intrigue scurried around the zenana. |

Horse Safari Through the Aravalli Hills 10 days / 9 nights |
A unique and interesting way to get beyond the regular tourist route; to step into the romance of the desert; to experience the timelessness that is India. This is not an itinerary for first-time visitors, and definitely not for the fainthearted. While every effort is made to see to your comfort the safari is, by definition, strenuous and challenging: physical fitness, reasonable riding skills and familiarity with horses are basic requirements. Your horse, the native Marwari, is a sturdy breed particularly well suited to the desert environment and able to take thirst and heat in its stride because of its thin skin. Though this adaptation prevents it from stretching out fully, and reduces speed, the resulting action of the legs makes it a very comfortable horse to ride. |

The Golden Triangle with Samode 7 days / 6 nights |
| Surely one of the most romantic monuments of the world, the Taj Mahal, is a must of the itinerary of every visitor to India. Designed and built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, as a memorial to the luminescent beauty of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, after her death in 1631, a single visit does not do justice to the Taj. Like the fames beauty of the woman it pays tribute to, the monument changes with the light; it presenta different facets at different times, and there are exquisite details it reveals hesitantly, almost shyly, to those who take the time. The 'Pink City' of Jaipur offers much to delight, a city of history and culture, massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples, marvellous gardens, golden sands and warm people. | ||||||||
