is a Gulet? |
The singular design of the Gulets,
Turkey's indigenous sea-going vessel, blends
practicality and tradition in a relaxed style that
embodies a Blue Voyage. Over the years
Gulets have evolved from traditional - crafted for
fishing and transport - into their present profile
with a broad beam and wide deck, equipped with
motors as well as fully functional rigging.
These vessels generally have 3-6 double/twin
cabins with private facilities. Charters are
usually taken for one week - Saturday to Saturday.

Turkey offers some of the most
spectacular sailing waters in the world, with its
tiny islets and coves fringed with pine forests
and olive groves, and a change to explore the
world's greatest civilizations. From some of the
Turquoise Coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays, you
can see mountain peaks rising to almost 3000
metres above sea level. Fortunately,
Turkey's modern facilities and comfort have not
overshadowed her ancient hospitality and slower
pace of life.

Blue
Eyes is a superbly handcrafted motor sailing
yacht, carefully designed and fitted for optimal
sailing performance. With an overall length
of 112 feet, Blue Eyes is fully crewed and offers
the finest in modern amenities. Parties of
up to 10 guests are comfortably accommodated in
one full-width master cabin, two double cabins and
two twin cabins - each with their own private
bathroom. Each cabin is spacious and
alluring, and in keeping with the predominant
theme throughout the yacht has been decorated with
handcrafted furniture and original artwork.
Alongside a very comprehensive entertainment and
cinema system, the yacht is equipped with
recreational games and water sports including jet
ski, sea bobs, water-skis and water-ski
tenders. She is a child friendly yacht with
something for even the youngest member of the
family. With a highly experienced crew of
eight on hand to attend to one's every need, Blue
Eyes is the perfect way to explore the
Mediterranean at leisure.
